What Makes Dr. Lamm Different

With 25+ years of experience and 50% of patients being revision cases, Dr. Lamm is the specialist to refer to for difficult cases wanting long-term relief. Many patients travel from out of the state or country for treatment.

Dr. Lamm has made pivotal scientific advancements for brachymetatarsia, including developing the Lamm Brachymetatarsia Classification System in 2020. This helps best diagnose and treat the condition with a personalized approach. The Lamm International Institute of Brachymetatarsia was also founded by Dr. Lamm in 2023.

Dr. Lamm goes beyond what other specialists offer, balancing cosmetic outcomes with functional restoration, even developing devices when none exist in the field to best serve patients.

Awards & Recognition

Dr. Bradley Lamm has been recognized multiple times as a Top Doctor and is a leader in Foot & Ankle Surgery.

“My interest in foot and ankle surgery began early, shaped by my background in sports, which gave me a deep appreciation for foot and ankle biomechanics. The foot and ankle are extraordinarily complex structures, responsible for supporting the entire body’s weight during standing, walking, and running. That complexity is what drew me to this field.

Brachymetatarsia is a particularly challenging congenital deformity that requires an advanced understanding of bone lengthening principles, external fixation, and distraction osteogenesis (bone growth). Over time, I developed a strong passion for both foot and ankle surgery and limb lengthening, which are essential to successfully correcting this condition.

I now perform a significant amount of revision surgery for brachymetatarsia—often treating patients whose initial procedures failed due to a lack of understanding of foot and ankle biomechanics or bone lengthening principles. What motivates me most is helping patients who have often been told their condition is too complex or who have already experienced unsuccessful treatment.”
