FAQs
Approximately 50% of Dr. Lamm’s patients are revision cases, meaning they have undergone prior unsuccessful surgeries elsewhere. This is why many travel across the globe for Dr. Lamm’s ability to handle complex cases with care.
Dr. Lamm typically starts with a virtual consultation. Then, the patient will visit Dr. Lamm for treatment, arriving a day before surgery. Patients then remain local for three days, followed by a comprehensive written care plan. These steps can vary depending on each patient’s needs.
Usually, patients can bear weight immediately post surgey when wearing a surgical shoe and using an assistive device. Even in bilateral cases, most patients can fully bear their weight. Formal physical therapy is typically not required.
